Good impressions throughout with very slight browning. Mostly b+w with a few color illustrations. Our copy differs from the copy in Mitchell [pp.413, 414] in that the colophon on the inside back cover of volume four is undated and includes only the name of the Wakayama bookseller, Hirai Bunsuke and ads for 10 books published by Hirai.
